Open Positions:

Mechanical/Electrical Assembler

Description and Qualities:

The candidate will be tasked with assembling electronic components and installing discreet devices on printed circuit boards in accordance with manufacturing instructions. This includes soldering components to PC boards, performing electrical assembly procedures, and following other manufacturing instructions necessary to complete the product assembly. The candidate will need to have the ability to operate power tools and complete other mechanical tasks and quality testing required for product assembly. 

Responsibilities:

– Assembling/Soldering with electronic components

– Install discreet devices on printed circuit boards

– Soldering other components to PC board

– Preforming other electrical and mechanical assembly procedures

– Ability to work with very small parts

– Ability to read and follow industrial drawings

– Ability to read and follow electrical and pneumatic drawings

Qualifications:

– Dexterity and good eyesight are essential

– Must have experience with soldering

– Must be able to speak and understand instructions given in English

– Detail oriented

– Ability to use hand tools

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week

Experience:

· Assembly: 1 year (Preferred)

 

Manufacturing & Test Engineer

Description and Qualities

This position covers four areas of work related to our devices and associated hardware: (1) build/manufacturing; (2) design improvements; (3) diagnosis and troubleshooting; and (4) Performance testing.

Build/manufacturing:

Follow written and verbal instructions to build small sub-components and assemblies. Candidates should be detail oriented, organized, possess good hand dexterity, and willingness to learn. General knowledge of tools to perform tasks such as cutting, sanding, drilling, soldering or tapping using hand tools or power tools. Deburring, sanding, finishing, and painting components. Populate printed circuit boards (PCBs). Work with sensitive electronic devices and follow Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures.

Design improvements:

Produce solutions starting from concept through design, prototyping, development, testing, design verification/validation, manufacturing, and post-introduction monitoring. Good time management skills. Ability to work on projects simultaneously in a “parallel” fashion. Organized and prepares necessary documentation for all projects undertaken. Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing practices. Use of 3D printing for rapid prototyping. Prepare models and detailed drawings with CAD. Knowledge of materials, thermodynamics, fluids, and industry standard practices. Experience with electrical, optical, and chemical sensors beneficial.

Diagnosis and troubleshooting:

Ability to conduct root cause analysis. Is methodical in their approach. Willingness to learn and understand how something works. Experience in repair and maintenance.

Performance testing:

Report and document any issues encountered during quality control testing. Proficient with common data-processing software (i.e., Excel). Follow written instructions and is patient and independent. Holds a driver’s license.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
